Traumatic Brain Injury - Interactive Metronome
18th Nov 2009
I suffered a traumatic brain injury from a car crash in 2005. I was left with poor short term memory and dysexecutive syndrome. As a result of treatment at Newland Chiropractic Clinic, which included "Interactive Metronome Therapy", my short term memory has improved greatly, along with my self confidence and initiative"

"Lucy was struggling with reading, she had low self esteem in all curriculum areas where reading and writing were required."
My examination demonstrated Lucy's eyes where regularly darting backwards while she read. She also spent a long time for her age processing/ understanding each word. I recommended Reading Plus.
"The transformation in our daughter’s confidence in reading was extraordinary. She made rapid progress and really enjoyed the programme and regular recognition of her progress. Whenever I watched her doing the programme I also found the subject matter fascinating, which helped me understand some of her motivation and interest.
She said recently that she was really happy to read things out in class and didn’t worry about it any more. That I think, is fabulous."
